INCIDENT SUMMARY | A wildfire burning west of Iris Meadows campground and Rock Creek Road, south of Crowley Lake in Mono County, California broke out on Tuesday evening (July 21, 2020) on the Inyo National Forest lands.
RESOURCES | 4 engines, 5 crews, 3 helicopters and 4 air tankers are assigned to this incident from the Inyo National Forest and CAL FIRE.
CURRENT STATUS | 40 acres. Fire fuels are mixture of sagebrush, mahogany and conifer. 20% contained. Lightning caused.
Evacuations are in effect for Iris Meadow and Big Meadows Campgrounds.
ROAD CLOSURES | Rock Creek Road.
