UPDATE 1 | AUGUST 16, 2020

A wildfire is burning along the  Snake River in Whitman County, Washington State. Fire started today at an unknown  time.

Here is what we know so far:

Around 1815 hours PT, State Mobe resources and assets were approved and responding en route to the scene.  It appears, we have only found the Fire Marshal’s Office as the only source reporting this information at this time.

Current weather conditions are 99*F temps down from the high of 104*F today.  The precip is 0%, RH is 14% and the winds are at 11 mph.

We have reached out to both the Washington State Fire Marshal’s Office and the SE WA IMT Type 3 if they can share with us more details about this new incident, since the Marshal’s Office is the only source we could find reporting.
