Perry Fire Rescue: The Local 5360 has joined the ranks and is now officially one of the IAFF’s newest affiliates. “They will be great assets to the 8th District and the state of Michigan. It’s great to have them as part of the IAFF family.” – IAFF.
FDNY: On 1/28, it was a sea of blue in the streets of New York City, along with FDNY members shoulder-to-shoulder with the men and women of the NYPD to mourn the loss of Police Officer Jason Rivera, along with his partner, Wilmber Mora was killed in the Line-of-duty last week.

TEXAS
El Paso Fire: EPFD, PD, and the TX State Parks jointly worked together today during a SAR mission at Smugglers Pass trail for an injured hiker. Additional mutual aid responded in the form of the Air and Marine Operations’ Blackhawks helicopter.
WASHINGTON STATE
Bellingham Fire: COVID tests are available on Monday from 0900-1600 (9-4). Parking in front of the blue “bay” doors is a no-no. Available at Bellingham Fire Station 1, on Broadway, is at-home COVID-19 test kits. While supplies last, 2 boxes (4 tests) are available per family. Please limit one person at a time during the pickup. If the sign is up out front, we still have tests to distribute.

Bothell Fire: FF Brad McCollum earned his Engine Drive Operator cert. This is after long hours and days of learning pump operations, safe driving techniques, tiller and aerial apparatus operations and water supply.

Hoquiam Fire: Firefighters are asking voters to approve the creation of the Regional Fire Authority for Grays Harbor County firefighters which include Aberdeen Firefighters and Hoquiam Firefighters.
