COWLITZ COUNTY

RED WING FIRE. Redwing Road. Crossland E2305 was dispatched with resources at 1724 hours PT that are currently on the scene with less than one acre of grass, shrub, and timber understory lost. Call dispatched at 1724 hours PT. Dispatch Center: WA – PCS. ** Open Incident **

AUSTIN POINT FIRE. Woodland. Call dispatch time: 1337 hours PT. Less than one acre of grass and shrub. Contained at 1538 hours and controlled at 1556 hours. Status: Patrol status. Comm Center: WA – PCS.

GRANT COUNTY

NEVA FIRE. Naylor Canal. Fire resources and assets were dispatched this afternoon to the Naylor Canal area near Dodson Road and Neva Lake Road, near the town of Ephrata this afternoon at 1506 hours PT.

About 7.2 acres of grass and shrub have been consumed. Cause: Under investigation. Resources: E6695 dispatched. Status: Contained. Losses: a truck and camper. ** Open incident ***

KITTITAS COUNTY

Fire Alert! | The Elk Heights and East (lower county) will move to a VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER, due to a 10-day weather for this area. Conditions will increase and become hot and windy.. (Source: KCFD1)

BOX FIRE. Box Canyon Creek in Cle Elum. Less than one acre of duff, timber understory has been consumed. Resources were dispatched this afternoon at 1336 hours. Contained and controlled at 1554 hours PT. Comm Center: WA – Central Washington (WA-CWC).

SPOKANE COUNTY

Fire Alert! | The weather forecasters are predicting possible isolated dry lightning Friday morning from 0300 hours to 1000 hours. The Spokane Valley Fire Department is asking you to report any visible smoke columns or new starts by calling 911 as soon as it is seen and safe to do so.

JACK BROWN ROAD FIRE. Hog Lake. Less than one acre of slash/blowdown was burned. Dispatch Time: 1310 PT. Contained: 1315 hours. Controlled at 1330 hours. PT. Comm Center: WA DNR – NEC.

STEVENS COUNTY

ARDEN BUTTE FIRE. Arden Butte. Incident #NES-1417,ACC-221. Resources NC 25, 61, 7305 dispatched at 1558 hours. Less than one acre was burned. Fuels: non-burnable. Status: Patrol Status. Comm Center: WA DNR – NEC.

SILVER BEACH FIRE. Silver Beach Road. Resources were dispatched at 1511 hours. Less than one acre was destroyed. Fuels: slash. Status: Contained at 1549 hours PT, controlled 1635 hours PT. Comm Center: WA DNR – NEC.

PETERSON SWAMP FIRE. Peterson Swamp Road. Less than one acre of grass was consumed. the Stevens County Fire District #13 fire assets and resources were dispatched to a hay field near Williams Lake Road and Peterson Swamp Road for equipment on fire.

It was reported that two Officers were first due, activated their two dry chem fire extinguishers, and knocked down the fire were dispatched at 1045 hours this morning until more fire resources arrived on the scene. The fire was said to be contained to the machinery and only having a small extension to the wildland-urban interface (the field). Status: Contained 1156 hours, Control: at 1205 hours PT. Resources: SCFD13, WA DNR, SCFD6. Comm Center: WA DNR – NEC.

THURSTON COUNTY

CAPITOL FOREST FIRE. Abandoned campfire at Capitol Forest. Dispatched at 0954 hours. Less than one acre of timber and grass were burned and lucky for this fire, WA DNR crews contained it at 1040 hours and were able to control it at 1105 hours PT. Comm Center: WA – SPS.
