The CLOVER FIRE IS located 21 miles south of Ennis, Montana on the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, which ignited when a single-engine plane crashed into the area, causing a wildfire and spreading slowly to area fire fuels.
Two Chinook copters and a smaller copter are assisting, alongside the Gila National National Forest. One helicopter will be on standby in case of injury or an accident occurs and they can quickly respond for a rescue mission.
About 21 acres have been destroyed.
There are about 22 total personnel assigned from the Forest Service.
There has been 546 acres destroyed but fire resources have reached a 5% containment status.
