INCIDENT SUMMARY
The VALLEY FIRE is the newest incident as reported by this wildfire’s Fire Managers to the NIFC, which is burning on Idaho Department Lands, about one mile east of Boise, Idaho.
FIRE BEHAVIOR
Fire behavior has been reported as active with wind-driven runs and uphill runs.
CURRENT STATUS
The fire has burned approximately 7,781 acres of grass and brush. There is an unknown containment status.
INCIDENT COOPERATORS
Boise Fire Department, BLM, Boise County Sheriff’s Office, and ID Department of Lands.

Northwest–West-Southwest Sides
Crews worked overnight building containment lines. Many challenges occurred but they are 100% engaged with fire suppression and working on containment efforts. Today, they will focus on strengthening and monitoring containment lines.
Northeast-East-Southeast Sides
Today, they will use aircraft, bulldozers, engines, and crews to strengthen containment efforts.
THREATENED
Numerous homes are threatened.
