A new notable wildfire has broken out which had fire resources pouncing on it immediately and stopping it from spreading quickly.
This wildfire originated on Friars Road and Va De La Moda in San Diego (San Diego County).
This wildfire incident ignited by an unknown source broke out at 1232 hours PT and is said to have SGE high-tension power lines over the fire area, making it a challenge for inbound ground and air resources.

Air Attack 330, Helicopters 129 and 10 were released from the fire at 1319 hours PT, while Copter 3 remained committed.
A structure fire occurred in the fire zone which several units responded and then were released from that area.
One firefighter was injured and was being evaluated by a Type 1. His or her condition is unknown and we hope it is just minor. The Firefighter was said to be being transported to a nearby hospital.
Operations had established Divisions: Alpha, Zulu, Golf, and Mike.
Sounds like this is about three acres in size, according to scanner feed.
Resources will remain on the scene for mop-up operations which is said to be a few hours. Firefighters were busy at 1325 hours PT in mopping up around structures.
