Sit Rep 1 — Monday, June 16, 2025

Resources were dispatched via the Oregon State Central Oregon Communication Center this morning at 0940 hours to a wildfire named the 0291 ALDER SPRINGS FIRE incident.

It is said to be located west of Crooked River and along the Deschutes River and Whychus Creek in the Grasslands.

It is located in Crooked River Ranch, Oregon.

Resources include: H-332R, E-9562, H407PG, D-231, N-160Z, E-640, BC-43, J-45, E-635, FT11, BC-15, and FT13. A Central Oregon Type 3 IMT will be assuming command of the fire on Tuesday, June 17th at 0600 hours PDT.

Incident Cooperators include: Crooked River Ranch Fire & Rescue, USFS, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, ODF, Bend Equine Medical Center, Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office (OR), Pet Evacuation Team – Pet, First Interstate Bank Center (animal evacuation), and the Deschutes County Fairgrounds (animal evacuation shelter).

The current size of the fire is approximately 1,500 acres. The containment status is unknown at the time of this post.
