INCIDENT SUMMARY: The TUSIL FIRE is burning on Tusil Road in Campo Reservation (San Diego County), California. The Fire started earlier this afternoon on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 1300 hours PT.

EVACUATION UPDATES: Tusil Fire | CAL FIRE

CURRENT STATUS: The fire has burned about 1,000 acres and has a 10% containment status. Evacuation orders and warnings are in effect.

Firefighters are working tirelessly to stop the forward progression of the fire. As of 1930 hours, they were working on putting it out, says CAL FIRE Officials.
