California Wildfire: #FrazierFire Threatening Structures | 1

AUBERRY, Calif. – A new brush fire ignited on  Sunday, June 3rd in the area of the 33000 block and Frazier Road in Auberry, California.  The fire is named the #FrazierFire for its location on the roadway.

Firefighters from CAL FIRE and Fresno Fire Protection District have been dispatched.  Mutual aid resources from the Sierra National Forest were deployed at 1536 hours PDT with SNF DOZ2  SNF CRW15 SNF E3-41 and E3-43 along with WT 23.

At 1628 hours, fire crews were making good progress on the 5-acre wildfire but it was reported that it had destroyed one structure and power lines are down in the area.  This was originally released as a brush fire with a structure threat when the call was dispatched.

No cause is known at the time of this post.
