JUNE 19, 2021 — SATURDAY — 0130 PT

The SUCCESS FIRE started on Friday, June 18, 2021 from lightning off of Success Valley Road and Reservation Road, east of Porterville (Tulare County), California.

The fire has burned has burned 800 acres and is 30% contained.

The Lead Agency is CAL FIRE – Tulare County. Incident Cooperators include the Tulare County FD and CDCR.

There are 20 engines, four fire crews, one helicopter, 12 overhead personnel, two bulldozers and two air tankers assigned to this wildfire.

Firefighters are in night operations and working to line the whole area around the fire as safely as possible.
