SUMMARY — The SEGO FIRE started this 1330 hours according to Fire Officials from a natural cause which passed over the area earlier. It is located on the southern end of the Book Cliffs on the north end of Thompson Springs in Grand County, Utah. Another wildfire named the CRESCENT FIRE is also burning in the same area.

CAUSE — Lightning strike. Lots of strikes in the last 48 hours.

SIZE UP — 50 acres. 0% containment.

INCIDENT COOPERATORS — Utah Fire Info, GBCC News. Moab Valley Fire Protection District,

CHALLENGES — Burning in rugged, steep and inaccessible terrain.
