OCEAN SHORES FIRE DEPARTMENT (WA)
The Ocean Shores FD operates a combination fire department with 22 career personnel with a Fire Chief, Assistant Fire Chief, Admin Assistance, Fire Inspector, and 19 firefighters. Additionally, there are volunteer firefighters. About 85% of the 911 responses are EMS. Their nearest hospital is at Harbor Regional Health in Aberdeen, about 22 miles away.
The City of Ocean Shores has approximately 6,000 full-time residents and has a high number of tourists throughout the year, more prominently in the spring and summer months with peaks up to 15,000-30,000 visitors per day.
