ROBIE FIRE

A wildfire broke out on North Robie Street in Spokane County, Washington State on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, prompting Dispatchers to deploy fire resources and equipment via the Northeast Communication Dispatch Center at 0021 hours PT.

The fire originally dispatched local firefighters last night as it was threatening a structure in the East Mansfield area.

The Wildcad.net system reported the fire was held by ground personnel to 0.1 acres.

VALLEY FIRE

State Firefighters were dispatched at 1147 hours today to Valley Road in Spokane County, for a response to a wildfire burning in the area.

Fire fuels included grass.

The fire was contained at 1245 hours and under control at 1400 hours PT.

2.8 acres were consumed.

BEAR CREEK FIRE

In Stevens County this afternoon, firefighters were dispatched via the WA DNR NEC Communications Center at 1514 hours PT to Bear Creek Road for a wildfire incident and quickly arrived on the scene at 1520 hours.

Crews were successful in stopping the forward progression of the fire and holding it at 1.6 acres burned.

JENNINGS ROAD FIRE

Firefighters with Spokane County Fire District #3 were on the scene of a wildfire on West Jennings Road in Spokane County, Washington this afternoon, where about eight (8) acres were consumed. Fire fuels included grass and shrubbery.

WA DNR Firefighters were also dispatched but at a later time at 1535 hours. PT. Together, they were able to contain it at 1822 hours. They extended their time on the scene around 1611, if not longer to complete mop-up activities.
