NEVADA COUNTY, CA– A wildfire ignited from an unknown cause this afternoon (July 28) at 1723 hours PT on Hwy 49 and Sharonjack Road, in Lake of the Pines.

About 16.8 acres have been burned, and there is a 20% containment on the fire.

No structures have been damaged or destroyed.
