NEW! Multiple Fires Break Out on CA’s #KlamathNF – June 7, 2016

Incident Summary

Multiple wildfires broke out on the Klamath National Forest in California from an overnight lightning storm on June 5th & 6th.

Six (6) Fires are near #HappyCamp #LowerElk #LittleGrinder #Jackson #Peak #Horse have been deemed small and contained.

Additional Wildfires are still actively burning.

#ChinaFire is located on Marble Mountain.  It is 0.1 acre in size. The number of personnel/resources or containment status is unknown at this time.

#AultFire is approximately 5 miles SE of Cecilville and is 125 acres in size.

#DillonFire is located near Dillon Creek.  It is said to be at a 1/2 acre.

#PonyFire is also located near Dillon Creek is the largest fires of all of them topping out at 125 acres.
