Boteler Fire:  Started 10/25/2016.   Shooting Creek community, 6 miles east of Hayesville, NC. 4,767 acres. 10% containment status.  398 Personnel. 

Buck Creek Fire:  Fire being monitored, patrolled and in mop-up operations. Acreage and containment status unknown.

Charles Creek Fire:  Fire being monitored, patrolled and in mop-up operations. Acreage and containment status unknown.

Cliffside Fire:  Start 11/2/2016.  Human caused.  3 miles NW of Highlands, NC.  101 acres. 98% containment status. 29 Personnel.  Crews are monitoring, patrolling and expanding mop-up control lines inside perimeter.

Dicks Fire:  Start  10/23/2016. Dicks Creek Drainage, 2 miles NW of Sylva, NC. Human caused. 2nd time reburn. 20 acres on interior.  Original fire 728 acres. 85% containment status. 82 personnel.

Ferebee Fire:  Start 11/6/2016. 1 mile north of Nantahala, NC. Unknown cause. 2,061 acres. 28% containment status. 2 homes evacuated (Silver Mine Rd). Crews working to improve & extend hand/dozer lines and to secure flanks. 66 personnel.

Grape Cove Fire:  Fire being monitored, patrolled and in mop-up operations. Acreage and containment status unknown.

Jarett Knob Fire:  Fire being monitored, patrolled and in mop-up operations. Acreage and containment status unknown.

Jones Gap Fire:  Fire being monitored, patrolled and in mop-up operations. Acreage and containment status unknown.

Knob Fire:  Start 11/2/2016.  8 miles west of Franklin, NC, on Rocky Knob. Human caused.  80% containment status. 1,130 acres. Crews mopping up w/in containment lines. Fire smoldering.  28 personnel.

Maple Springs/Roughy Fire:  Start 11/4/2016. North of Santeetlah Lake.  Unknown cause. 5,083 acres.  North of Santeetlah Lake.  10% containment status.  Fire being monitored, patrolled and in mop-up operations. Containment status unknown.  192 personnel assigned.

May Branch:  Start 11/3/2016.  West of Nanatahala Lake. Human caused. 175 acres. 50% contained. 34 personnel assigned.
