The Wildfire Log: Grant County’s Cliff Fire Last Update | 3

UPDATE 3 – JULY 1, 2019 – MONDAY

There was a wildfire burning on SR 243 at milepost 25  in Vantage was originally named the #243Fire in Beverly, Washington would quickly be changed by Fire Command and burning in Vantage.

Firefighters from WA DNR and other fire agencies quickly provided heavy fire response and suppression efforts to contain the fire.  As of one hour ago, some fire personnel remained on-scene for mop-up operations and to gain a 100% containment status.

The fire burned 70 acres.

There is no cause at this time but it is under investigation.

No injuries to firefighters or to the public was reported.
