INCIDENT SUMMARY.   The CENTRAL FIRE is burning on the Tonto National, about 4 miles east of New River, Arizona.  This started on June 20, 2020 and was human-caused.

CURRENT STATUS.  4,499 Acres of short grass. 80% containment status.  Minimal fire behavior with smoldering. Estimated containment by June 30th.

RESOURCES.  135 personnel.  2-Crew-Type 1; 3-Crew-Type 2IA; 1-Dozer, and 4-Engine-Type 6.

DAMAGE ASSESSMENTS.  $424,000 cost-to-date for fire suppression and containment efforts.
