UPDATE 4 (Final)

The ANDRUS FIRE has been 100% contained as of this morning with some resources and the NE WA IMT Team 2 turning the incident back over to Unified Command to the Spokane County Fire District 3 and the WA DNR Fire agencies.

About 232 acres were destroyed.

All evacuation orders were lifted and residents were permitted to repopulate back to their homes. There were no structures lost or injuries reported to civilians or firefighters.

The fire started approximately July 5th at around 1130 hours PT, about three miles northeast of Cheney, Washington. The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
