The PETER FIRE is a brush fire located on Peter Pan Gulch Road and Olinda Road or about two miles southwest of Anderson in Shasta Trinity County, California, which ignited from an unknown source on July 14, 2022.
The fire has scorched 304 acres and is now 50% contained.
Resources include 30 engines, 16 water tenders, 10 hand crews, and 329 total personnel along with one copter and one dozer. Lead Agency: CAL FIRE.
Approximately 12 structures have been destroyed.
All evacuation orders have been lifted for residents only.
The cause is under investigation.
Cost-to-date for fire suppression and containment efforts have reached $797,000.00.
