Sit Rep 1: July 11, 2026, PM Update

The TWAIN FIRE is burning in Feather River Canyon and is located north of Feather River Highway in the Plumas National Forest in California.

It is also being said it has moved into the old DIXIE FIRE burn scar from 2021.

The Fire statted today at 1148 hours PDT.

CAL FIRE / Butte Co FD sent 2 strike teams to assist the Plumas NF.

About 125 acres have been burned, and there is a 0% containment status.

The cause is under investigation, according to CAL FIRE Officials.
