BORDER AKA BORDER3
Location – 2 miles E of Potrero, CA.
Fire Fuels – Chaparral, dormant brush, and tall grass.
Current Conditions – Minimal fire behavior. 7,609 acres. 97% contained.
Resources – 258 personnel. 7 crews. 9 engines. 0 helicopters.
Damage Assessment – 16 structures destroyed. $18.7 Million (CTD)
Closures – Trail closures in effect.
CAMPO FIRE
Location – Off Campo Seco and Chilli Camp Road. Near Burson. Calaveras County.
Current Status – 33 acres. 75%
ERSKINE

Location – 1 mi SE of Lake Isabella, CA.
Command – Unified Command – BLM, Kern Co, USFS.
Current Conditions – Active fire behavior with isolated torching, uphill runs, and backing. Burning in 2008 previous burns. 46,68
Shelters – Kernville Elementary School. 13350 Sierra Way, Kernville; St Judes Catholic School. 86 Nellie Dent Dr, Wofford Heights.
Resources – 1743 personnel. 44 crews. 110 engines. 15 helicopters.
Threats – Numerous residences threatened.
Damage Assessment – 257 structures destroyed. $15.8 Million Cost-to-Date.
Closures – Evacuations, road, area, and trail closures in effect.
Weather – Precipitation occurred over the fire area yesterday.
FRAZIER FIRE
Location – Off Nacimiento Lake Drive / Frazier Lake Rd. San Luis Obispo County.
Current Status – 86 acres. 100%
LAGUNA FIRE
Location – Laguna Coast Wilderness Park. 2 ½ miles NE of Laguna Beach. Orange County.
Current Status – 100% contained. 47 acres.
MARINA FIRE

Location – Inyo NF. 1 mile NW of Lee Vining, CA. Hwy 395 / Mono Lake. Mono County
Command – Transfer of command from IMT 2 (Fogel) back to the local unit will occur on 7/1.
Resources – 393 personnel. 12 crews. 18 engine.
Current Conditions – Minimal fire behavior. Numerous structures threatened. 654 acres. 89% contained. Fire moderate. In mop-up operations and fire suppression repairs.
Damage Assessment – 1 structure destroyed. $2.1 Million (CTD)
NELSON FIRE
Location – Whisky Hill near Middle Fork Feather River. Plumas National Forest.
Start – 6/28/2016 afternoon.
Cause – Unknown. Under investigation.
Current Status – Fire crews working on containment line around the 14-acre (snags) located in a remote part of the forest. Low rate of spread.
Resources – 55 personnel with the aid of Air Tankers, smoke jumpers, handcrews, multiple engines and a helicopter.
PONY FIRE
Location – Happy Camp Ranger District, 1/2 mi NE of Pony Peak. 15 miles SW of Happy Camp. 17 miles N of Somes Bar. Almost 3 miles W of State Highway 96 and the Klamath River.
Cause – Lightning.

Fire Fuels – Burning in litter, dry brush, and timber, with heavy dead and down snags in areas where fires burned before.
Current Conditions – Creeping and smoldering and expecting to have single torching throughout the rest of the week. 2,858 acres with a 63% containment status.
Resources – 142 personnel.
SHERPA FIRE
Location – Los Padres NF. 19 miles NW of Santa Barbara, CA.
Fire Fuels – Chaparral and tall grass.

Current Conditions – Minimal fire behavior. Residences threatened. Last report unless significant activity occurs. Cause under investigation. 7,474 acres. 93% containment reached.
Resources – 94 personnel. 2 crews. 3 engines. 3 helicopters.
Damage Assessment – 5 structures destroyed. $18.7 Million (CTD)
Closures – Road, area, and trail closures in effect.
TRAILHEAD FIRE
Location – near Todd Valley. Placer and El Dorado Counties. Along the Middle Fork of the American River.
Start Date/Time – 6/28/2016 @ 1345 hours.
Command – Unified Command with CAL Fire, USFS

Current Status – Active, prompting evacuations. 1,000 acres. 12% containment status. Firefighters are having to fight fire in steep and forested canyons.
Evacuations – On-going in Placer and
Resources – 1928 personnel. 123 engines. 65 crews. 22 Dozers. 17 Water Tenders.
Incident Cooperators – Local Fire Departments, Placer County , Nevada County , Sacramento County , El Dorado County.
