Washington Wildfire | Basalt Fire | 2

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – Fire resources were dispatched on July 4th (Wednesday) at 0900 hours through the Northeast Washington Interagency Communications Center to Greenwood Road, where a wildfire is burning.


Resources AR26C , AR29, AR443, AR447, AR449, HT42 and HT44 arrived on-scene around 0906.

Current Status

Fire has been contained at 1030 hours and controlled at 1425 hours.  About 1.1 acres of grass, brush and light timber were scorched.  The fire formerly named the Greenwood and Basalt Fire has been renamed Basalt Fire
