BLUE RIVER 2 FIRE

BIA.  San Carlos Agency.  Apache Reservation. IMT 2 (SW Team 4) Start 7/13/2020. Lightning caused. 2 wildfires burning. North of Warm Springs. Team also managing VALLEY FIRE incident. 15 miles NE of San Carlos.

27,500 acres. 0 % contained. Brush and short grass. 65 total personnel. 3 crews, 2 engines, 1 helicopter. Active fire behavior. Structures under threat.  Road closures in effect. $150,000 CTD.

VALLEY FIRE

BIA.   San Carlos Agency. Apache Reservation.  1st fire. Lightning caused. 6 miles NE of San Carlos.

981 acres. 0% contained. Brush and tall grass. 54 total personnel.  2 crews, 2 engines. Active fire behavior. Road/Area closures in effect. $100,000 CTD.

JACKSON FIRE

BLM.  Gila District. 18 miles W of Pima or 13 miles SW of Fort Thomas.

2,143 acres.  0% contained. Lightning caused.  Brush and short grass. 134 personnel. 4 crews, 2 engines and 2 helicopters.

Moderate fire behavior.  Flanking, backing and uphill runs. Most growth within the Santa Teresa Wilderness and adjacent to BLM lands. Structures under threat. Temporary flight restriction or commonly called TFR is in effect.  $367,000 CTD.

BRINGHAM FIRE

USFS. Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. Burning on Clifton Ranger District. Start 7/6/2020. Lightning caused.  22 miles N of Morenci.

23,142 acres. 85% contained. Timber, brush and short grass.

USFS. Coronado National Forest. 5 miles NE of Tucson and burnin gin the Catalina Mountains, NW of Tucson. Start 6/5/2020 2222 Hours.

119,541 acres. 89% contained.  Timber, brush and short grass. Minimal fire behavior. Creeping. Road/trail/area closures in effect.  66 personnel. 5 engines, 1 helicopter. 2 structures lost. $44 Million CTD.

MANGUM FIRE

USFS. Kaibib National Forest.  24 miles SE of Fredonia. Start 6/8/2020.

POLLES FIRE

USFS. Tonto National Forest. IMT 1 (SW Team 2). 13 miles W of Payson.  Start 7/3/2020.  Lightning caused.

628 acres. 85% contained. Brush, short grass and slah. Minimal fire behavior. Isolated torching, creeping and smoldering. Road/trail/area closures in effect.  235 personnel. 5 crews, 7 helicopters. $4.6 Million CTD.

YANKEE JOE FIRE

USFS.  Tonto National Forest. 20 miles N of Globe.

425 acres. 25% contained. 16 personnel. 2 engines. Brush and tall grass. Minimal fire behavior. $20,000 CTD.

MONUMENT FIRE 

AZ DOF – Northern District. 30 miles NW of Ash Fork and 22 miles of Valle.

CHILTEPINES FIRE

AZ DOF – Tucson District.  46 miles SW of Tucson and 16 miles ENE of South Komelik.

334 acres. 75 % contained. Brush and tall grass. Minimal fire behavior. Smoldering.  $50,000 CTD.
