Incident Summary | A wildfire broke out on Sunday, July 14, 2019, near the community of Doyle in Lassen County, California. It’s exact location is off Old Highway and Cowboy Joe Road, northwest of Doyle Northern California District – Susanville.
IC | Bureau of Land Management (BLM) of the BLM Eagle Lake Field Office.
Resources | California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, CAL Fire.
Current Status | The fire has burned 150 acres of grass and brush. 0% containment. Fire suppression efforts include fire crews using initial attack with engines and aircraft. Fire is burning on both the east and west sides of Highway 395.
Fire Wx | There are concerns with possible future windy conditions that will hit the area.
Evacuations | Ordered for those homes inside the fire perimeter which include on Highway 395.
