The Wildfire Log | Juniper Wind Tower Fire | 1

JULY 20, 2019 | UPDATE 1

KLICKITAT COUNTY, Wash. | A wildfire has prompted resources to be dispatched through the Central Washington Interagency Communications Center at 1659 hours on Saturday, July 20, 2019.  Resources included:  SE 722, 742, TSUBOTA.  More are en route.

The fire is named the JUNIPER WIND TUNNEL FIRE.

Approximately 300 acres of grass, brush and timber have been burned with the fire currently now  threatening structures and wind farms is located off of E Road, south of Bickleton, Washington State.

Washington State Fire Marshal’s Office (@wafiremarshal) has approved State Mobilization of resources as of 1930 this evening.

There are limited released details on this wildfire. We are working to gain more intel and will post a new update as information is received.
