Cooperating Agencies: BLM, American Red Cross, Big Sur Land Trust, Big Sur Volunteer Fire Brigade, Cachagua Fire Protection District, CAL FIRE, CA Conservation Corps, CA Dept of Fish and Wildlife, CA Dept of Parks and Rec, CAL Trans, CHP, CALOES, CA DOT, Carmel Highlands Fire Protection District, County of Monterey, Mid-Coast Fire Brigade, Montrey Bay Air Resource District, Montrey County Regional Fire Protection District, PG & E and United Way.
Destruction: 68 structures destroyed. (57 homes, 11 outbuildings)
Containment Status: 92%.
Cost-to-Date: $236.5 Million.
Structures: Many under threat.
North side: In patrol status.
East side: Active fire. Fire suppression efforts in effect.
South Side: Air resources making retardant drops.
West Side: Direct attack.
